Dale Pollard was raised on a small farm in rural Missouri where he helped his father with their family’s row crop and livestock operation. He worked his way through college by doing custom farm work and earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. During the summer months, when school was not in session, Dale helped area farmers with field work and hauling hay.
During the last 10 years, he has spent many hours doing seasonal work for a farmer with a large crop operation. He has had the responsibility of operating and maintaining many kinds of farm equipment. Dale has a working knowledge of safe operating practices and proper maintenance of machinery. He is also able to use this knowledge and experience as he investigates accidents involving farm machinery. This practical experience helps him determine if operator negligence, manufacturer defect, or improper maintenance of equipment contributed to an accident. Dale also attended a course at the University of North Florida called “At Scene Traffic Crash Investigation” to increase his knowledge.
Dale has worked with Midwest Accident Reconstruction Services, L.C. for over 15 years. He brings a wealth of information to our staff regarding farm machinery and currently serves the company as Agricultural Specialist. For farm related incident investigations, contact the main office in Concordia, Missouri, telephone (660) 463-7006.
